Akiko woke up in a hospital and she had slept for 18 hours. John found her in the bathroom and brought her to the hospital. He wrote a note to Akiko before he left to Colarado; he wants a 2nd chance from Akiko; He called his mother from the plane to take care of Akiko. But, after Akiko recovered, she found out she's pregnant and decided to leave John. Akiko went to New York and stay with Jane for a couple of days. After that, she went and visit Grace and stayed with Dyanne and Lara until she give birth to her baby girl.
Jane lose her baby and found that it actually died a few weeks ago. Jane broke down and cried a lot. She loses her job; She thought that John had destroyed all the videos they took, but fortunately Oh and Suzuki copied all the video and gave it to Jane. She edited the video and make copies and send it to Bunny, Sloan, Dyanne and Lara. Jane went and meet Sloan and they decided to get married and adopt a child.

Jane knows about DES in the meat and she made a research on that chemical. Jane goes on and talks about her marriage with Emil and how they met. They were married but Jane couldn't get pregnant because something is wrong with her uterus and her cervix. So, after a few years, they divorce and Emil had another family of his own.
After dating Sloan, she got pregnant but was concern on how to tell Sloan about it. She assumed that Sloan doesn't want the baby but it turned out that Sloan wanted the baby and she didn't ask her to abort it.
At the meantime, Akiko got back her period but she didn't tell John about it. But, after she watched Dyann and Lara on that week My American Wife, she suddenly realized that she wanted a baby but not John. She never did want to marry to John.
Jane almost lose her job for filming that week of My American Wife because no meat was used. So, she promise John that she will only film about beef and no more vegetarians. So, Jane was really curious about DES in beef. She warned John about those chemicals in the beef that would effect the health of the people who consume it.
Akiko takes up her courage and wrote a letter to Jane asking her how to live a happy life. Jane decided to tell the truth to the people by filming the production of beef at Colorado.
